NVIDIA’s Ampere launch has been plagued by various issues, with limited supply and boost clock instability being the core problems. As per the company CEO, Jensen Huang, supply won’t be back to normal till the end of the year. In a recent reply to a consumer, a Dell representative shared the same sentiment.

Replying to a customer from North America, the rep conceded that all the orders at present are backorders, and it’ll take another 45-60 days (about two months) for inventory to stabilize. With the holiday season on the horizon and AMD all set to launch its Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards (Big Navi) next month, it’ll be interesting to see how NVIDIA copes with limited supply and increased competition at the same time.
