A Chinese enthusiast has managed to attain a new record in memory overclocking, pushing their memory to a whopping 3500MHz or 7000MT/s. This feat was achieved using LN2 on an MSI MEG B550 Unify-X paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G.

Both the memory and CPU were cooled using liquid nitrogen and a single memory DIMM was used. Crucial’s Ballistic MAX DDR4-4000 16GB memory module was used for the test.

The memory timings weren’t all that bad either. The timings were set to a rather acceptable 22-26-26-46-127-1.Â
