Cyberpunk 2077 was the #1 Bestselling Game on the PS4 for the Month of June

Cyberpunk 2077 had a very rough launch, doubly more so on the older consoles. Sony was forced to remove the game from the PS store after users complained of poor performance and game-breaking bugs. After an absence of more than half a year, the game is finally back on PSN. To everyone’s surprise, it’s doing rather well on the PS4, grabbing the top spot among the list of the bestselling games for the month of June (in Europe and the US).

Cyberpunk 2077 took the #1 spot, followed by Grand Theft Auto at #2, and other annual titles such as NBA, FIFA, and CoD in the other top-five to six positions, alongside Minecraft. Interestingly, none of Sony’s 1st party titles were among the top-20 most popular games for either June or May.
