CD Projekt Red’s latest title, Cyberpunk 2077 which was supposed to be this year’s biggest launch has now become one of the cheapest AAA games released this year. The game is now being sold for just $34.99 on BestBuy and Amazon. This is the physical edition but that should hardly make a difference.

This is likely the result of retailers trying to get rid of a game that’s garnered so much criticism that having physical copies in the store is bad for your reputation. The fact that the Digital version is still going for $59.99 is proof of that.

While BestBuy is selling both the next-gen and previous-gen (physical) versions of the game (Xbox One/Series X and PS4/PS5) for $34.99, Amazon is only discounting the PS4 and Xbox One versions, with the PC key being sold for a modest $39.99.
Say what you will about CBP2077, the game runs decently on PC and the next-gen consoles especially if you own an NVIDIA RTX graphics card. Sure, there are plenty of glitches here and there, but none of them are game-breaking, at least not in my experience.
