Bitcoin Hovers Close to $60,000, Ether Just Under $2,000

For the first time in history, Bitcoin has crossed the $60,000 mark, with the price for one Bitcoin hovering north of $59.5K since morning. The highest recorded value was $60,203 per coin earlier today. However, since then the value hasn’t crossed the $60 mark again, staying just under and testing nerves.

Ether has been following similar trends, meandering just under the $1,900 mark, but not quite breaching it. This is the highest the cryptocurrency has been in, well, forever. It’ll be interesting to see if the currencies maintain this rally, or fall.
