Apple Releases Beta Version of macOS 11.4 w/ AMD Radeon RX 6000 GPU (RDNA 2) Support

Following Apple’s Spring event and the launch of the new iMac and iPad Pro, the company has released the developer beta for the macOS 11.4, with support for AMD’s RDNA 2 based Radeon RX 6000 series, including the 6800, 6800 XT, and the 6900 XT. Support for the midrange RX 6700 XT is still pending and the same goes for the upcoming 6600 XT.

The beta update can be downloaded if you’ve enrolled in the developer beta program or from Apple’s developer site. macOS 11.3 supports new sorting options in Reminders, the ability to set audio output to Stereo HomePods as default, as well as the Xbox/PlayStation controllers, etc. The macOS 11.4 beta weighs in at about 3GB in size with the build number, 20F5046g.
