Intel today launched its 10th Gen Comet Lake-S desktop lineup, featuring its first 10-core consumer CPU, the Core i9-10900K. As per reviews, Intel’s “fastest gaming CPU” is barely faster than the Core i9-9900K in gaming while still falling behind AMD’s Ryzen 9 3900X in other multi-threaded workloads like content creation and rendering.
Regardless, AMD has lowered the price of the Ryzen 9 3900X to $409, more than $100 less than the newly launched 10900K which is selling for $529 at the moment. The original price on Newegg is $439 but using the coupon code “EMCDKGR34”, you can get another $30 discount, bringing the price down to $409. You also get three months of Xbox Game Pass free with the processor. Here’s the link.
