AMD’s Ryzen 7 3700X has dropped to an all-time low of $274.99…again. This puts it directly in contention with Intel’s Core i5-10600K ($299) which it absolutely destroys. Of course, the latter still wins in gaming, but with some mild overclocking the 3700K should be able to compete on the same level.

The Ryzen 7 3700X originally launched for $329, to compete with Intel’s Core i7-9700K while offering twice as many threads. Now more than year later after launch, and the 3700X still pulls its punches against the newly launched Core i7-10700K. (adderall) It’s an octa-core CPU with SMT and a boost clock of 4.4GHz. It comes with a massive 32MB of L3 cache and has a TDP of 65W. Unlike its Intel rivals, it also comes with a packaged Wraith Prism Cooler which actually handles the CPU rather well. You can buy it from here.
