AMD’s Revenue to Hit 3 Billion for Q4: 2x Increase in 18 Months

AMD is expected to announce its Q4 2020 earnings report in a few hours and analysts are expecting a revenue of 3 billion, give or take. That’s an increase of 2x or 100% in just six quarters or 18th months. Keep in mind that this revenue includes the Xilinx earnings as well.

The company’s profits are also expected to be the highest since the second quarter of 2011, right before the Bulldozer architecture was launched and Intel’s Core lineup hit the market. While AMD’s earnings are going to be announced tonight, Xilinx will hold its earnings call tomorrow at 9nm. We’ll update this post as the earnings are announced.
