AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XT Discounted by $100: Now $400 Cheaper than the RTX 4080

AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XT is now $100 cheaper, going for just $799 at Newegg US and £799.99 at Overclockers UK. The Navi 31-based graphics card launched late last year with a price tag of $899, substantially cheaper than NVIDIA’s RTX 4080 ($1,199) and RTX 4090 ($1,599). With the latest price cut, it can be had for just $799, at least $400 less than the RTX 4080.

The Radeon RX 7900 XT offers solid raster performance with mild ray-tracing capabilities. It’s notably faster than the RTX 4070 Ti in raster gaming but falls short in ray-traced titles. Compared to the RTX 4080, we’re looking at a nominal deficit in the former but a substantial gulf in the latter. You can go through our review of the Radeon RX 7900 XT here.

At Overclockers UK, the Sapphire RX 7900 XT Gaming is also down to 799 GBP. The card is now cheaper by 100 bucks across two major regions.
