AMD’s Radeon RX 6500 XT is the Bestselling GPU in Germany

AMD’s newly launched Radeon RX 6500 XT was panned by reviewers and enthusiasts alike. However, in today’s market, anything sells, as long as it’s available that is. We’re seeing a similar trend with the 6500 XT. The Week 3 sales figures from Mindfactory (Germany’s largest retailer) show that it debuted at #1 on the list of bestselling GPUs. Selling 280 units, it was followed by the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti (190), the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (170), and the Radeon RX 6600 series together selling 280 units.

It’s worth noting that graphics card prices have slowly started to return to normal, with stocks normalizing with each passing day. The supply in Jan has been the highest in more than an entire year, expected to reach pre-pandemic levels by the second half of this year.

Stocks for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060/3060 Ti, RTX 3070/3070 Ti, AMD’s Radeon RX 6600 XT/6600, and the RX 6700 XT have been fairly ample over the last few months. The price vacuum still leaves a lot to be desired, but that should straighten out with the launch of the next-gen lineups from NVIDIA and AMD later this year. If rumors are to be believed though, both the Radeon RX 7000 and GeForce RTX 40 series will be priced a fair bit higher than their predecessors, marking another official hike in graphics card prices.
