AMD is poised to go all-out in April with a plan to launch as many as 10 different Ryzen processors across the budget segment. The most obvious SKU is the Ryzen 7 5800X3D which will launch on the 20th of April with a market price of $449. The rest of the chips are all aimed at dislodging Intel’s newfound place among the budget DIY crowd. We’ve got nine processors, five based on the Zen 3 core architecture, and the remaining four retaining the older Zen 2 core.
Officially, these chips will be priced in the $100-300 range, but retailers are almost certainly going to offer additional discounts, especially on the $299 Ryzen 7 5700X and the $199 Ryzen 5 5600. These two are likely going to retail for $250 and $160-180, with Microcenter further discounting them by a couple of dozen bucks. The remaining parts will also be getting price reductions a few weeks post-launch, just as we saw with Intel’s Alder Lake lineup.

According to WCCFTech, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D will be available for purchase starting from the 20th of April. The Ryzen 7 5700X, 5600, 5500, 4600G, 4500, and 4100 will launch on the 4th of April while the Ryzen 7 5700, 5100, and 4700 will arrive around the same time.
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D – 20th April (Availability)
- AMD Ryzen 5700X/5600/5500/4600G/4500/4100 – 4th April (Availability)
- AMD Ryzen 5700/5100/4700 – April (Availability)
Out of these, only the Ryzen 5 4600G will feature an integrated GPU. It’s essentially a rebrand of the Ryzen 5 Pro 4600G. The rest of the 4000 series Zen 2 parts will be based on repurposed Renoir dies with the iGPUs disabled. As such, expect worse gaming performance than the stock Zen 2 “Matisse” processors on account of the reduced L3 cache.
