AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D up to 27% Faster than the Intel Core i9-13900K in Gaming [Official Benchmarks]

The official first-party benchmarks of AMD’s 2nd Gen 3D V-Cache CPU have surfaced, courtesy of HDTechnologia. Over 20 games were tested at 1080p at the ultra quality present and pitted against the Intel Core i9-13900K and the Ryzen 9 7950X. When paired with the Radeon RX 7900XTX, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D is 5.6% faster than the Core i9-13900K on average and up to 41% faster than the 7950X.

Switching out the RDNA 3 flagship with the RTX 4090 increases the lead to 6% and 16% over the Core i9-13900K and Ryzen 9 7950X. In some cases, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D is up to 27% faster than the 13900K, mainly in AMD sponsor titles. Well-optimized DX12 games also get healthy numbers out of the 7050X3D.

Compute-intensive titles like Ashes Escalation, Far Cry 6, and Strange Brigade are where the Core i9-13900K comes out on top. Overall, however, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D is the clear winner.
