AMD’s Ryzen 7000 processors continue to see price drops early into the cycle. High and low-end CPUs have been heavily discounted to entice gamers into AM5. The Ryzen 9 7900X is the most well-rounded out of the bunch. The 12-core chip has been discounted by $110, dropping from its $549 MSRP to $439 at the time of writing. On top of the 19% discount, it comes with a free Star Wars: Jedi Survivor game bundle worth $70.

At the lower end of the stack, we’ve got the Ryzen 5 7600X, discounted by $91, bringing it down to just $209. The hex-core CPU debuted at an MSRP of $299 late last year and offers solid gaming performance with modern GeForce or Radeon graphics cards.

The Ryzen 9 7950X is going for a nifty price of $579, down from its launch price of $699. Despite the discount, it’s pricier than the Core i9-13900K, which is faster in most workloads. If you’re a gamer, we suggest opting for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D instead. At $679, the 7950X3D is a much better option for content creators.
