AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU Price Cuts Not Permanent, Part of Black Friday Discounts

Following multiple reports of Ryzen 7000 price cuts (including ours), AMD has issued an official statement clarifying that it’s not permanent. Like several other hardware deals, including the one on the Core i7-13700K, these prices are part of the Black Friday campaigns and will return to normal post-Cyber-Monday.

Interestingly, AMD hasn’t said how long the promotion will run, but I’m quite certain it’ll be at least a week or two. At the moment, the Ryzen 9 7900X and 7950X can be had for $459 (MSRP: $549) and $527 (MSRP: $699):

Regardless, retailers are bound to reduce Zen 4 pricing in the future, seeing as how the Raptor Lake family is faster and cheaper.
