AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is Selling Even More than the 5800X3D: Nearly Twice as Much in Germany

AMD’s Raphael-X offerings are some of the fastest on the market. If you’re looking for a gaming CPU, look no further than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Despite being cheaper, it’s faster than the Intel Core i9-13900K in most games while drawing less than half as much power. Like its predecessor, the 7800X3D is a hit among gamers, making it a bestseller across every major retailer. At Germany’s largest retailer (Mindfactory), the Zen 4 3D part has sold nearly twice as many units as its predecessors.

Sales numbers from the last couple of months (compiled by TechEpiphany) show the Ryzen 7 7800X3D made it to the top of the chart, beating the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and 5700X by a massive margin. The former sold a whopping 4,720 units, while its predecessor maxed out at 2,510. The 5700X and 5600 sold 2,310 and 1,770 units, respectively.

Going through the bestselling charts of popular retailers, we see a similar pattern. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the #5 bestselling processor at Newegg, followed by the Core i5-13600K and the Ryzen 7 5800X3D at #7 and #8, respectively. The Ryzen 9 7950X3D is ranked #10.

At Amazon, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D comes in at #5, while the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is pegged at #9, showing that many mainstream users still prefer the AM4 platform over its pricier successor.
