The fastest gaming CPU, AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D, has dropped to its lowest market price of $329.99 on Microcenter. The Zen 4 3D chip launched at an MSRP of $449 roughly six months ago and has gradually become cheaper and cheaper. A while back, Newegg ran a similar promotion that brought the 7800X3D down to $349. However, Microcenter’s offer beats them all, offering the CPU for just $329.

You can get an additional $16.50 discount if you apply for a Microcenter Insider Credit Card, bringing the price down to $313.49. The Ryzen 9 7900X3D is also going for a steal. The $599.99 CPU is priced at $469.99 on Microcenter, $130 Off its MSRP.

If you’re a gamer, you’re better off with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D as its monolithic design minimizes latency. The Ryzen 9 7900X3D and 7950X3D are meant for content creators who like to game and don’t mind the extra cores at the cost of latency.
