AMD Ryzen 7 5800X on Discount: Bundled w/ 3 Months of Xbox Game Pass for $448

Graphics cards may be going for outrageous prices, but the latest CPUs have more or less returned to their MSRPs, with some even going for discounted rates. The octa-core AMD Ryzen 7 5800X is easily one of the best gaming and content creation CPUs on the market, offering leadership single-threaded performance and even better multi-threaded grunt. Newegg is presently selling this particular SKU at a discounted price of $429 (MSRP: $449). You can get it bundled with three months of Xbox Game Pass for just $448: access to around a hundred games for three months for just $20!

The Ryzen 7 5800X is based on AMD’s Zen 3 core architecture and fabbed on TSMC’s N7 (7nm) process. It features 32MB of L3 cache which is shared amongst all eight cores and 4MB of L2 cache or 500KB per core. The CPU has a stock TDP of 105W, but can be run at 65W as well using Eco-Mode. Thanks to the use of AutoOC, you can overclock the SKU with just one click, pushing the boost clock past 5GHz if you’re lucky.
