AMD Ryzen 5000 Series “Vermeer” to Launch on 20th or 27th October

As per reports from multiple sources, AMD plans to launch the first wave of Ryzen 5000 “Vermeer” CPUs on the 20th (or 27th) of October. The chips expected to debut in the first batch include the Ryzen 5 5600X, Ryzen 7 5800X and the Ryzen 9 5900X. As expected, these are the budget, high-end, and ultra-high-end SKUs with 6, 8, and 12 cores, respectively.

This info comes from two sources: Yuri Bubliy, the author of Ryzen DRAM calculator, and the new Tuning Tool (via VCZ) claims that although this is old info, it appears to have been unchanged.

He believes that the Zen 3 chips will be launched on the 20th of October (the 5800X and 5900X) while Navi 2x, including Big Navi will come out by mid to ending November.

ComputerBase also has some info on this subject. The German outlet claims that all three Ryzen 5 5600X, 5800X and 5900X CPUs will be launched on either the 20th or 27th of October. We saw the first benchmark of the Ryzen 7 5800X a day back, beating the Core i9-10900K in Ashes Escalation by a considerable margin.
