AMD Ryzen 5000 CPU Supply Expected to Improve Significantly by Christmas

It looks like AMD’s Ryzen 5000 CPUs are finally going to start shipping in decent volumes soon. According to the latest delivery schedule from UK Retailer, Scan, stocks for all three Zen 3 parts are expected to be back in stock with plenty of units by the last week of December.

The first major shipment is set to come just before Christmas with more than two thousand Ryzen 5000 processors. These include:

  • Ryzen 5 5600X: 1,246 units.
  • Ryzen 7 5800X: 600 units.
  • Ryzen 9 5900X: 211 units.
  • Ryzen 9 5950X: 100 units.

The week after Christmas is expected to bring in even more Zen 3 chips, with a total of more than three thousand parts. These include:

Ryzen 5 5600X: 1,750 units.

Ryzen 7 5800X: 1,500 units.

Ryzen 9 5900X: 448 units.

Ryzen 9 5950X: 492 units.

Seeing how the global supply chain for each region is connected, it’d be fair to say that the European market is soon going to be flooded with Ryzen 5000 CPUs, and the same goes for the American markets. We can’t say the same about the Asia-Pacific regions at the moment. We’ll update this story as we hear more.
