Micro Center has discounted the Cezanne desktop parts, selling them at the same prices as the last-gen Zen 2 budget offerings. The Ryzen 5 5600G and Ryzen 7 5700G are both going for under $300, making it a good opportunity for those looking to upgrade older systems without emptying their piggy banks.

The Ryzen 5 5600G is a six-core (12 thread) Zen 3 APU with a base clock of 3.9 GHz and a boost of 4.4GHz. We reviewed the chip back when it was launched for retail and found it sufficient for basic gaming workloads and content creators. It comes with half the L3 cache as the mainstream Ryzen 5000 CPUs and packs an integrated Vega GPU instead.

The 5700G increases the core count to eight (16 threads) with a base and boost clock of 3.8GHz and 4.6GHz, respectively.
