AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Price Drops to All-Time Low: Just $166

The AMD Ryzen 5 3600, one of the best budget processors on the market has just become even more appealing with a price drop to $166. That’s almost $35 less than the launch price of $199, and a whole $100 less than the competing Intel Core i5-10400 which is a chip that simply shouldn’t exist:

Intel’s 10th Gen Core i5-10400 Fails to Beat Even the $125 Ryzen 3 3300X in Gaming

The Ryzen 5 3600 is a hex-core part with 12 threads and a maximum boost clock of 4.2GHz. It comes with an unlocked multiplier and can be easily overclocked to around 4.3-4.4GHz. The large L3 cache of 32MB ensures you get a decent gaming experience without breaking the bank. You can buy it here.

The higher-end Ryzen 7 3700X is also selling for a decent price of $274, which is again nearly $50 less than the MSRP of $329. Compared to the Intel competition, the Core i5-10600K costs $299, and yes, while it is slightly faster in gaming, it’s significantly slower in everything else, all the while costing more. You can check the deal here.
