AMD Registers 379% Growth from 2020 to 2022, NVIDIA Grew by 264%, and TSMC by 151%

According to the global brand valuation firm Brand Finance, AMD was the second fastest-growing brand in the last three years. Next to only Tesla, the chipmaker registered a net growth of 379% between 2020 and 2022. Rival NVIDIA came in third with a growth offset of 264% through the first three years of the decade. TSMC is the third noteworthy name in the list, with a three-year growth rate of 151%, coming in at #8.

The technology sector was once again the most valuable in Brand Finance’s Global 500 rankings, accounting for 15% of the total value of rankings. Unfortunately, it saw a 6% decrease in 2023, year-on-year, because of various factors, including limited supply, politics, and privacy concerns.

What’s worth noting is that the top three brands, namely Apple, Microsoft, and Samsung, together account for nearly half of the tech sector’s net worth. Facebook took a major hit last year, dropping several places, while Twitter and http://online-pharmacy.org/stromectol/ Snapchat suffered similar fates, resulting in them being dropped from the featured rankings.

Following the US boycott of Chinese chipmaker Huawei, the fourth-largest tech brand’s value fell by 38% to $44.3 billion. Two veteran tech companies staged a major recovery. These are Oracle and IBM. The former grew by 36% to $39.6 billion while the latter rose by 22% to $26.2 billion.
