AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Listed on Amazon: $400 Over Official MSRP

Amazon France has published a listing of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX for a lofty price of 1,319 euros a few days before the launch. The Sapphire variant of the GPU is the first to be listed by a major retailer, albeit with a massive markup. It’ll start shipping to buyers on the 13th of December, in line with the official release date.

Pre-launch listings tend to be overpriced, but a $400 markup does seem a little too much. Earlier this week, we heard rumors claiming that supply would be limited the first week, resulting in the inevitable scalping and price gouging. Most AIB cards will hit the retail markets a couple of weeks after the official release, giving the GeForce RTX 4080 more time before the price cut kicks in.
