The first rasterized benchmarks of the Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards have leaked out, courtesy of YouTuber Mark PC. The tests include popular titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War, Cyberpunk 2077, and Doom: Eternal. The RX 7900 XT and 7900 XTX trade blow with the GeForce RTX 4080, the former being slower and the latter faster:
Update: These benchmarks may look fake, but aren’t/can’t be far from the actual figures.
The Radeon RX 7900 XTX consistently beats the RTX 4080 in rasterized gaming workloads while the 7900 XT falls behind. The RDNA 3 cards offer excellent value for your buck: One being $300 cheaper at roughly the same performance level. The flagship one-ups the RTX 4080 at $999, but a future price cut from Team Green may put them on equal footing. That said, the GeForce RTX 4080 will likely be faster than the RX 7900 series cards in ray-traced games when they launch next week.
