AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Unboxing and Graphics Card Photoshoot

AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 series unboxing embargo has been lifted, and we are free to show off our review samples to the public. We’ll review the reference model, which comes in an all-black color scheme, an improved triple-fan design, and a slot size of 2.5. This differs radically from the GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition, which features the 12VHPWR connector and a 3-slot profile.

The graphics card is 276 mm long and comes with three connectors at the back: 2x DP 2.1, 2x HDMI 2.1, and a USB Type-C. The shroud has a polygonal design encasing the fans and the rear end with sharp ridges in between.

The dual 8-pin power connector has been retained, but AIBs mostly plan triple connectors to ensure higher performance and a larger power envelope. Look out for our review next week.
