AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT/7800 XT Slated to Hit Retail in Late November [Rumor]

AMD has teased the announcement of its next-gen Radeon RX 7000 graphics card on the 3rd of November. Starting with the top-end RX 7900 XT and the RX 7800 XT, we’re looking at the first chiplet GPU family with up to seven dies. One Graphics Compute Die (GCD) and six Memory Complex Die (MCD). Each of the latter is paired with a 64-bit bus, 16MB of L3 “Infinity” Cache, and an additional 3D stacked 16MB and 192MB LLM.

The Radeon RX 7900 XT will come with 48 WGPs across 6 Shader Engines and 12 Shader Arrays. This results in a shader count of 12,288 stream processors with the new revamped 128-wide CUs and 256-wide WGPs. The GPU is connected to the memory across a 320-bit bus with one controller disabled. We’re once again looking at 18 or 19Gbps of GDDR6 memory. (Tramadol)

AMD will unveil its RDNA 3 GPUs on the 3rd of November, but the hard launch will come in the last week of the month. This gives the NVIDIA RTX 4090 over a month to rule the enthusiast GPU market without any competition.
