AMD Radeon RX 7900 Series GPUs Launching in Short Supply, AIB Cards Coming 2-3 Weeks Later [Rumor]

AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards are planned for a 13th December launch. However, as already reported earlier, the supply will be sketchy for the first few weeks. As per industry sources, the reference cards will hit retail on the 13th of December in limited numbers, but the partner models will land a few weeks later. Only three AIBs have announced their variants of the RX 7900 XT/XTX, namely Sapphire, PowerColor, and ASUS. ASRock, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, Vastarmor, XFX, and Yeston have yet to put anything concrete.

Additional info procured by Andreas Schilling suggests that board partners still have no hard figures on the release. The preview is allegedly planned for the 13th, but we don’t know if any retail units will be available at the time. The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX has an official MSRP of $999, while the RX 7900 XT comes with a price tag of $899.
