AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT Drops to $609 (44% Off) as NVIDIA Launches the RTX 4070 at $599

AMD’s RDNA 2 flagship has dropped to its lowest price just in time for the GeForce RTX 4070 launch. The Radeon RX 6950 XT 16GB has been discounted to $609 by multiple retailers, $491 or 44% off its launch price of $1,099. Newegg is selling the ASRock Phantom Gaming RX 6950 XT for $629 with a $20 promo code bringing the price further down to $609.

The GeForce RTX 4070 offers RTX 3070 Ti to 3080 levels of performance for a price of $599. Although the RX 6950 XT is substantially faster in rasterization, its raytracing capabilities are far below the former’s. However, if you’re into shooters and eSports titles, it’s a pretty sweet deal.

The Radeon RX 6800 XT and 6800 are also going for attractive prices. The former is down to $539 while the latter can be had for $469 off Newegg. Both cards come with a free game code (The Last of Us) worth $60. The RX 6800 XT launched at $649 while the RX 6800 has a sticker price of $579.
