AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT “Navi 23” to Come with Just 32MB of Infinity Cache; Van Gogh Without

The AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT is inching closer and closer to its launch date (sometime in April). As per data shared by Kepler on Twitter, the Navi 23 GPU (Dimrey Cavefish) powering the graphics card will come with just 32MB of L3 or Infinity Cache. The GPU will be paired with 8GB of GDDR6 memory via a paltry 128-bit bus, but that shouldn’t cause any problems as the card is targeted at 1080p gamers.

On the compute side, we’re looking at 32 Computer Units, down from 36 on the RX 5600 XT. This is likely because the impact of the IC at 1080p is much more pronounced and 32MB of pushes the smaller Navi 23 GPU ahead of the larger Navi 10 based part.

There’s also the cache configuration of the Van Gogh GPUs included in the Tweet. Unsurprisingly, the iGPU will altogether lack the L3 cache to save die space. It’ll come with 2MB of L2 cache, 32KB of L1I cache per DCU, and 16KB of L1D cache per DCU.
