AMD Radeon RX 6600 in Stock at Micro Centers (Offline), Out of Stock at Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy

AMD launched the Radeon RX 6600 the other day to a disappointed DIY crowd. For the average gamer, however, this means another GPU can be possibly purchased at (close to) the MSRP. Since the RX 6600 is based on salvaged Navi 23 dies, stocks should be better than all the other RDNA 2 parts already on the market, at least theoretically.

Going by Amazon, Newegg, and Best Buy, the GPU is already out of stock. However, Micro Center still has most AIB cards available across its offline stores. The price is, of course, a fair bit (~$100) higher than the official MSRP of $329, but the card seems to be in stock at pretty much every Micro Center across the US.

The AIB models of the RX 6600 are priced between $419.99 and $459.99, with the ASUS Dual-Fan variant even at a $50 “discount”. GPUs continue to sell like hotcakes regardless of how poorly AICs price them, either due to increased demand or miners, or perhaps both. We’ll likely have to wait till the next generation of graphics cards from AMD and NVIDIA for the market to stabilize.
