AMD Radeon Graphics Driver Boosts Game Performance by up to 8% in DX11 Titles

AMD’s Adrenaline driver update (May 2022) improves the performance of the Radeon RX 6000 GPUs by up to 8% in DX11 titles compared to the previous version. The newly launched Radeon RX 6950 XT should see the largest gains for obvious reasons. In addition to DirectX 11 specific updates, several Resizable Bar optimizations have also been implemented for Death Stranding and Watch Dogs: Legion.

The two games see a healthy uplift of up to 12% and 24% with “SAM” enabled on a Radeon RX 6950 XT using the 1440p Very High graphics preset compared to the previous version.
