AMD Radeon Board Partners Don’t Have Extra Units for RMAs, NVIDIA RTX 30 Supply Improving

According to a report from Gamersnexus, while the supply of NVIDIA’s RTX 30 series graphics cards is gradually improving, AMD’s Big Navi cards are facing more severe shortages than the former ever did. In fact, a major board partner conveyed to Steve that they don’t even have extra parts for warranty and RMA purposes.

This means that if your Big Navi graphics card stops working for whatsoever reason, you won’t be able to get a replacement. Instead, you’re more likely to either get it repaired for free or simply a refund.

Earlier, AMD reaffirmed to gamers that the supply of the Big Navi graphics cards should improve in the next 4-8 weeks (that is in January 2021), with the RX 6800 XT expected to return to its MSRP by Feb 2021.

The reason for the shortage of the RX 6000 graphics cards is being blamed on the next-gen consoles which are getting the highest priority from AMD, followed by the Ryzen 5000 processors and lastly the RDNA 2 part.
