AMD Adrenalin 22.5.2 Graphics Driver Brings Performance Gains of Up to 24% Across Various Games

AMD has rolled out the Adrenalin Edition 22.5.2 graphics driver, improving gaming performance across a slew of titles, primarily those leveraging DirectX11. (Ar15discounts.com) On average, Team Radeon promises performance gains of up to 8% on the newly launched RX 6950 XT. Optimizations to Smart Access Memory (SAM) or Resizable Bar enhance frame rates by as much as 24% in Watch Dogs: Legion, and 12% in Death Stranding on the RX 6×50 XT cards.

In addition to optimizing existing titles, the new driver also includes launch-day support for Sniper Elite 5, Hitman 3 ray-tracing patch, and Vulkan API extensions. The Ryzen 6000 “Rembrandt” mobile processors also support Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) via the integrated RDNA 2 GPUs, allowing 60 FPS gameplay in many of the latest games.

AMD has acknowledged performance issues on the Radeon RX 6900 XT when playing Fortnite with multi-threaded rendering enabled in the DirectX11 API. Stuttering and lags in Call of Duty: Warzone (Caldera map) are also being investigated. You can download the drivers from AMD’s official website by selecting your respective GPU and OS from the available options.
