In a blogpost, MSI has announced that all its B450 and X470 motherboards will support the newly announced Ryzen 5000 CPUs. In line with AMD’s own schedule, the beta BIOS supporting the Zen 3 chips on the 400 series boards will be released in January 2021.

The company has already launched the latest AGESA COMBO PI V2 1.1.0.0 BIOS for all X570 and B550 series motherboards which include support for the Ryzen 5000 CPUs and enhanced PCIe Gen 4 support. The post states that a detailed release schedule will soon be unveiled for the 400 series beta BIOSes on the MSI website.
